My post on our Biltmore Trip like I promised!
As I mentioned before. I could not take any pictures inside the Biltmore House at all. I was so upset. BUT I found out later on that I can purchase a permit prior to making the trip to Biltmore. It might cost an arm or two and have several restrictions on how I can use the photos but I would be able to take pictures inside the house.
HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES!
This is a balcony on the second or third floor. I didn't ask if I could take this picture. I just took it. I'm just a risk taker that way. No one stopped me so I assumed it was ok.
This is a side view of the Biltmore House standing on the path to the gardens.
This is a side door to the Greenhouse. It was no ordinary green house, let me tell you. It was so beautiful! And everything at Biltmore was decorated for Christmas...I do mean EVERYTHING!
This was the main door to the Green House. So pretty!
We walked the gardens and grounds of Biltmore for hours. There was just so much to take in and there were not even any flowers bloomed! So, I can imagine just how much more beautiful it would be in the Spring time. This is a boat house we came across at the Bass Pond. It was more like a small lake. Hardly a "pond". haha
Here is the complete front view of the Biltmore House. It was a massive structure and so beautiful!! You can't tell from this picture but the detail on the outside was incredible!
Buddy is in the phase where he wants to try to jump off EVERYTHING! He even snuck in a jump off the stair case inside the Biltmore House that scared the crap out of me and then it was quickly followed by embarrassment as everyone around us gasped! He wasn't hurt, and he landed on his feet but some people thought he fell. Oye!! We finally found something acceptable to let him jump on and off of outside while walking the grounds and he was so tickled! He jumped off so many times!!
Here him jumping off the stump!
He was smiles all day and I'm so proud of him! It was really a long day and not much of a kids place but he still managed to have a good time. Love my little Buddy Bear!

So, now that you have been in Charleston for awhile, do you like it? Dh is looking at contracting jobs in his old position of Intelligence with the AF and SC is on our short list... Wondering what the area is like to actually LIVE in?
