Buddy bear has asked for a real bike since the beginning of Summer.
On Black Friday we took him to look at bikes and he had his heart set on a bright green hot wheels bike. Problem was it was meant for a boy twice his age. :( my poor buddy was crushed! We did our best to distract him and show him a blue spiderman bike. He eventually decided it was really cool and we said ok we will see if we can get it for Christmas( we don't do Santa at our house. He knows of Santa and his story but we don't do the "go to bed, Santa is coming"). I had husband take him to a different side of the store so I could wrangle a store worker to get me a bike. He directed me to lawn and garden where they were all lined up. I went out there to look for the Spiderman bike and it was no where to be found. I was so sad!! As I was walking out I spotted a green and blue hot wheels bike just like the one my Buddy originally wanted!!! But it was the perfect size!! I was so excited!!!! I grabbed it and paid for it and ran out to the car to hide it under the sun shade and blanket in the back of the car so Buddy wouldn't see it.
Buddy has no clue his bike is coming!!! I can't wait!!! He is still asking about his hot wheels bike and I am so glad we are able to get it for him. :)

He's going to be so excited!! We got Annika a tricycle this year, she tested it out in Wal-Mart a few months ago and loved it.
I'm glad we aren't the only ones that don't do Santa! People think we're mean, I just don't want the girls to think that some random guy gives them gifts, I want them to know that mommy and daddy got them for them!
